The biggest annual fund raiser, the Dream Ball, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. The theme is “An Evening in Tuscany” and will include a black-tie optional dinner dance with live and silent auctions, featuring entertainment by the Impalas.
Second Harvest Food Bank also participates in programs such as, We Can Care, the US Postal Carriers Food Drive, Hunger Action Month, Souper Bowl of Caring, Tips for Hungry Lips Lunch, Seasons Alternative Gift Fair, Soup Crawl and many other events that are presented by other organizations and businesses. Many businesses and organizations also partner to conduct food drives throughout the year.

They often need the support of volunteers to help in the office, sort food in the warehouse, work special events,
